Novant Health is looking for a passionate and driven Registered Nurse to join our Salem Sugrical Ambulatory Specialty Team. About Salem Surgical Associates

We offer general surgery services along with colorectal, bariatric and cancer surgery services. Specializing general surgical procedure, colorectal surgeries and weight loss surgery to people who want to lose weight. Join us in providing advanced, patient-centered care that improves quality of life.

What You'll Do

  • Triage: Assess patient concerns, prioritize care needs, and coordinate with providers for timely interventions.
  • Post-Operative Patient Education & Care: Provide instructions, support recovery, and ensure patients understand follow-up care plans.
  • Nurse Visits: Conduct scheduled visits to deliver direct patient care, administer treatments, and monitor progress.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
    • ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT; preferred.
