Unit Details

• Home Unit Assigned on Day 1
• Units & Patient Types:
• ADTU: Med/Tele overflow, ED holding
• 7N/S Ortho Surgical: Joint replacements, spinal surgeries
• 6S Medical Telemetry: COPD, pancreatitis, AMS
• 5N Surgical Telemetry: Bariatric, urology, GI surgeries
• 4N Cardiac Med Telemetry: CHF, stroke, cardiac workups
• 3N Medical Telemetry: ESRD, sickle cell, behavioral health
• 2N Medical: Med/Tele Obs + Detox

Staffing & Ratios

• RN: 1:5–6
• CNA: 1:6–12
• Support: CNA, Receptionist, Charge RN, Phlebotomy, IV/VAT Team, RT, Hospitalist, Intensivist

Requirements

• Experience: 18+ months Med/Tele RN
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Skills:
• General Med/Tele: Stroke care, cardiac rhythm, trach care, IVs, chest tubes, drains, PCA pumps
• Ortho (7N/S): Ortho experience, spinal precautions
• Medications: Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products

Technology

• EMR: Epic
• IV Pumps: Alaris
• Med Dispensing: Omnicell
• Monitors: Philips

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
