Registered Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring a Med Surg/Telemetry RN to support our client’s medical facility based in Monroe, NC. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

• Location: Monroe, NC – 28112 – Floating Required
• Job Type: Contract
• Duration: 13 or 26 weeks
• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry, with floating requirements to areas within acuity.
• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts / 7 pm – 7 am
• Pay Range for locals: $38.00 - $41.60per hour
• Pay Range for travelers: $1,800.00 - $1,861.20per week

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Requirements:

• State of North Carolina RN license or compact license – required
• 2 years of previous experience and MUST have Med Surg/Tele experience – required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) – required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) – required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification – required
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing – required
• Bachelor’s of Science in nursing – preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assess and analyze patient health data to identify diagnoses, problems, and care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating delivery and promoting a safe environment.
• Evaluate patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and ensure adherence to professional standards.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams while integrating evidence-based practices into nursing care.
